Spynnynge

Spynnynge is a space for anyone who would like public conversation about their thinking and writing. It is for faculty. And it is for students. And it is for hybrids. If your writing is completing, or if it is stalling, you may want to talk through the obstacles or tell stories of your adventures. If you do, this is your chance.

The person spynnynge is given one hour to do with as they see fit...to converse...to show slides...to muse...to mutter...and so on. Typically these are informal and held on Wednesday's at noon in the Humanities Center seminar room over soup provided free for all. But if you want a black tie 4:10 formal lecture we can arrange that too. The simple truth is that surrounded as we are by similarly minded people, we still sometimes forget that in addition to smiling as we pass, we are also allowed to talk with each other.

If you do, if you want to have an hour for spynnynge at will, contact Edurne Portela at 610-758-4375 or edurne@lehigh.edu. (We pronounce it "spinning".)
